
Michael Drennan – Owner
Michael Drennan started as a French Horn player and performer turned arranger and educator. He earned his Master’s Degree from Indiana University and his Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College. He has studied with Dale Clevenger, Jacek Muzyk, Jeff Nelsen, Richard Seraphinoff and Alex Shuhan. He has performed with many different groups including the Indiana University Chamber Orchestra and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Michael started arranging music for his brass quintet at Ithaca College, Five Cents Sharp. Starting with Eric Whitacre’s Sleep, this quickly turned into an addicting hobby that continues to today. As a Beginning Band teacher, most of the music he currently writes is for Early and Beginning Concert Band.
Michael is a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina, where he teaches Band and Orchestra at the American Leadership Academy of Johnston County. In his spare time he is an avid runner and an Ironman Triathlete.
